17:8. ಅವನು ಮಾತನ್ನು ಮುಂದುವರಿಸಿ, “ನಿನ್ನ ತಂದೆಯು ಮತ್ತು ಅವನ ಜನರು ಶೂರರೆಂಬುದು ನಿನಗೆ ತಿಳಿದಿದೆ. ಕಾಡಿನಲ್ಲಿ ತನ್ನ ಮರಿಗಳನ್ನು ಕಳೆದುಕೊಂಡ ಕರಡಿಯಂತೆ ಅವರು ರೋಷವುಳ್ಳವರಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ನಿನ್ನ ತಂದೆಯು ಒಬ್ಬ ನುರಿತ ಹೋರಾಟಗಾರ. ಅವನು ಜನರೊಂದಿಗೆ ರಾತ್ರಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಇರುವುದಿಲ್ಲ.

17:8. ನಿನ್ನ ತಂದೆಯೂ ಅವನ ಜನರೂ ಪರಾಕ್ರಮಶಾಲಿಗಳು; ಅವರು ಅಡವಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಮರಿಗಳನ್ನು ಕಳಕೊಂಡ ಕರಡಿಯ ಹಾಗೆ ರೋಷ ವುಳ್ಳವರಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆಂದು ನೀನು ಬಲ್ಲೆ. ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ನಿನ್ನ ತಂದೆಯು ಶೂರನು; ಅವನು ರಾತ್ರಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಜನರ ಸಂಗಡ ತಂಗುವದಿಲ್ಲ.

17:8. Hushai went on to say, "You know your father and his men— they are soldiers and are as dangerous as a bear out in the wild that has been robbed of her cubs. Your father is an experienced soldier; he will not stay overnight with the army.
